Adorable! Collies (I think that’s a toy collie) are so smart and gentle. My mastiffs love kids, but they are so big we have tamp down their enthusiasm when little ones are around.
Now that brings back memories! When my oldest son was a baby we had a Husky that used to run around like that and make him burst out laughing. It is hard to believe my son is now 19 years old, where did the time go?!
I think that breed is called a sheltie. Great dogs! When I was in college, I had a roommate with one, and I use to go jogging with it on woodland trails in Richmond, VA. While I saundered down the trail, the little rascal just zip around, periodically crossing the trail in front of me. I suppose he was just checking to make certain I was behaving myself.
Sheltie is short for Shetland Sheepdog. My guess is that the working version — versus the show dog — needs all that energy to keep track of sheep and sheepish people.
That dog is a champ at keeping the baby entertained– like Good Dog Carl, only without the mayhem!
Have you seen this one?

What an adorable vid! The dog seems to know he should make the baby laugh, heh.
I need that fellow around at my place. Give me a break. :)
What an adorable collie. That baby’s laugh is contagious. God bless them.
